Dr. Loudon received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center. Among multiple publications, Dr. Loudon has also received the Orange County Medical Association’s Physicians of Excellence from 2010 to 2012. We understand that it can be trying and exhausting for a parent to watch a child struggle with pain from what seems to be invisible causes. However, Dr. Loudon can identify the cause of the pain and develop the necessary treatment for the child. Our practice specializes in working with children and helping them recover to lead healthy lifestyles. With an array of services and years of expertise in the field of pediatric neurosurgery, Dr. Loudon will help find the best treatment method for each patient.
Our Services
Children with brain tumors or neurological trauma will need more than medication or basic treatment from a doctor. Dr. Loudon can provide the necessary care that a patient needs to begin living a healthier and better lifestyle. The services at our practice include pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric brain surgery, laser surgery, infant brain surgery, radiosurgery and children’s brain surgery. With each child, we will run specific tests and examinations to find the direct cause and the best course of action for treatment. While the situation and possible treatment options can seem overwhelming to some parents, we encourage any parent in need to call for more information on possible procedures. We also offer pediatric brain tumor treatment, pediatric spina bifida treatment, hydrocephalus treatment, minimally invasive neurosurgery, craniosynostosis treatment and more. If your child is in need of pediatric neurosurgery, do not hesitate to call us and schedule an appointment.
Patient Information
Upon calling to schedule a consultation with Dr. Loudon, parents or legal guardians of the child will begin the process of finding the necessary treatment. From the beginning of that first call, Dr. Loudon and his team will give each patient the highest level of efficiency and professionalism possible. We will go over the patient’s medical history and any other treatment programs the patient has tried in the past. We will also conduct an assessment of the patient’s current health to better understand the situation. From there, we will begin the process of developing a personalized treatment plan. Since no patient is exactly like another, we will tailor each treatment to the individual patient. During this process, we will ensure that you understand exactly what is happening to your child and the specifics of your child’s treatment. We will make sure that you are not left in the dark on any matter concerning the procedure and will answer all questions from the beginning. If you have any questions on the scheduling process, feel free to give us a call.
